What is Statistics for Data Science 1 about?

Stats 1 is a Foundation-level course starting from descriptive statistics basics: data classification and measurement, frequency distributions, central tendency and dispersion, and bivariate association.

• ▸Week 0: descriptive statistics, an introduction to statistics and probability theory.
• ▸Week 1: data classification, foundations of statistics, scales of measurement.
• ▸Week 2: frequency distributions, mode and median, graphical displays of categorical data.
