What is a WA/WQ grade in IITM BS?
WA/WQ means you were never eligible to write the end term in the first place — either your weekly assignment average fell under 40, or you didn't attend a single quiz — and it's recorded as a fail, same weight as a U grade.
- ▸To avoid it: keep your best-5-of-7 weekly assignment average at 40 or above, and attend at least one of the two quizzes.
- ▸A WA/WQ grade means repeating the entire course — assignments, quizzes, and end term — the same as a straight fail.
