What happens if I fail an IITM BS course?

If your Total Course Score (T) comes to under 40/100, you get a U grade and have to repeat the entire course — all weekly assignments, quizzes, and the end term — at full course fee.

• ▸The same applies if you were never eligible to write the end term at all (a WA/WQ grade, from a low assignment average or missing every quiz).
• ▸Repeating a course counts toward your CCC (Credit Clearing Capability) limit for that term, same as registering for a new course.
• ▸The whole programme — including any repeats — has to be completed within 96 months (24 terms).
