What's the minimum score to pass an IITM BS course?
Your Total Course Score (T) needs to be at least 40 out of 100 to pass — this is the same cutoff for every learner in every course, and it maps to a U grade (fail) if you fall short.
- ▸Above that, it's absolute grading: T ≥ 90 → S, 80-89 → A, 70-79 → B, 60-69 → C, 50-59 → D, 40-49 → E.
- ▸If your weekly assignment average was below 40, or you attended zero quizzes, you're not even eligible to write the end term — that's recorded as WA/WQ, also a fail.
